Facilities Management company Serco is in negotiations with landlord Pan Maritime for a 2,322 sq m (25,000 sq ft) call centre in Cardiff Bay, south Wales.
Serco is believed to be to be taking two floors in the former Littlewoods building on East Tyndall Street on a 12 year lease at around £80.73 per sq m (£7.50 per sq ft). However, Serco’s call centre manager Brenda Cliggett said that other options are available to the company.
A further 1,114 sq m (12,000 sq ft) is thought to be under offer in the same building to a different call centre operator. Several call centre operators currently have requirements for Cardiff.
