Barberry House pays WDA £4.5m for Cleppa Park, South Wales

West Midlands-based Barberry House Properties has acquired Cleppa Park, near Newport, South Wales, for £4.5m from the Welsh Development Agency. The deal reflects a yield of 12%.

The 5.26 ha (13 acre) business park is half a mile from the Lucky Goldstar site near junction 28 of the M4 motorway. It provides 8,386 sq m (89,942 sq ft) in six buildings let to tenants including WS Atkins, Dun & Bradstreet and Cable-on-Line.

Cooke & Arkwright advised Barberry House while Grimley acted for the WDA.
