Regus, the serviced-office centre operator, is in negotiations to take a pre-let on a 1,858 sq m (20,000 sq ft) building at Cardiff Gate business park in Pentwyn, South Wales.
The discussions follow the submission of a planning application by the consortium behind the development to build a 4,645 sq m (50,000 sq ft) office building on the site.
If Regus goes ahead with deal, it will be one of the company’s few pre-lets in the UK. Regus normally takes space in existing buildings, but chairman Mark Dixon said at the start of the year that he was considering design and build options.
