The Heritage Ministry has registered a pub as a listed building.
The Three Magpies at Birmigham is owned by Mill House Inns and was due to be gutted. Temporary landlord, John Browne, was unimpressed: “I think it’s hideous. I tell you, I’ve seen very good 1930s buildings – and this isn’t one of them.”
