Waystone has 4.9ha (12 acres) at Kingsbury Link, Tamworth, under offer to Albion Land at about £89,034 per ha (£220,000 per acre).
Albion is close to securing a prelet – understood to be DFDS – for a 11,148 sq m (120,000 sq ft) shed on the site for which a planning application has been submitted. The developer is understood to be close to securing a prelet on the unit.
Last year Albion forward funded a 9,225 sq ft (99,300 sq ft) distribution warehouse in Daventry, with NILGOSC for £4.77m. The development was prelet to Volvo Car UK.
