The NHS has selected Morrison Developments and Property Solutions to develop the 2.06ha (5.1 acre) £60m mixed-use site at Fiveways Roundabout in Edgbaston, Birmingham.
The joint-venture’s plans for the site include a multiplex, a Family Entertainment Centre and licensed leisure outlets as well as a residential element.
Birmingham Children’s Hospital currently occupies the site, but the hospital will move to a new city centre site at the start of next year.
