BT has unveiled plans for a £7m refurbishment of Telephone Exchange on Town Walls in Shrewsbury as part of company’s Workstyle 2000 programme.
As part of the project, Telephone House on Riverside, also in Shrewsbury, will be vacated, with staff moving into the newly restored exchange building and BT’s other property in the town, Communications House.
It is understood that BT will put Telephone House on the market once the move is complete in around 12 months’ time.
