The Confederation of British Industry has sublet six floors at London’s landmark Centre Point, WC1, to Focus Central London and Business Link.
The new tenant has taken a total of 2,425 sq m (26,100 sq ft) of newly refurbished space on a 10-year sublease at £188.37 per sq m (£17.50 per sq ft). CBI granted a 13 month rent free period.
According to Healey & Baker which are agents for Centre Point, a further six floors will be coming to the market next year. It is thought the rent achieved on future lettings will be nearer the £215 per sq m (£20 per sq ft) mark.
