Engineering firm Ove Arup and Partners has commited to a 32,700 sq ft (2,948 sq m) office pre-let at Grosvenor Waterside’s Capital Waterside scheme in Cardiff Bay.
Arup’s new HQ will be built next to Grosvenor’s speculative Scott Harbour development. It is the third pre-let secured by Grosvenor in the Bay, after deals struck with the Welsh Common Services Authority and NCM Credit Insurance.
The rent agreed is expected to be in the region of £166.84 per sq m (£15.50 per sq ft.)
John Lovell of Arup’s Cardiff office said: “We are looking for more efficient space – the new offices designed to reduce energy costs, providing more comfort and a better working environment for staff.”
