Legal & General Property has asked for planning permission to redevelopBarrington House, Gresham Street.
The planned new building is to have 23,782 sq m (256,000 sq ft) ofoffices on the ground and seven upper floors. There will be 2230 sq m(24,000 sq ft) of storage, an 818 sq m (8,800 sq ft) restaurant and 35parking spaces. Provision has been made for two dealing floors totally 5574sq m (60,000 sq ft).
The plan is subject to planning approval and agreeing terms withexisting tenants.
