In one of the biggest lettings in the town for two years, Oxford-based call centre operator Freepages is taking 2,278 sq m (24,526 sq ft) as the first occupier in the Richardson twins’ 14,864 sq m (160,000 sq ft) Telford Plaza development.
The new occupier is taking the 4th and 5th floors in Telford Plaza 2, the second phase of the city centre development, following a nationwide search for its new call centre operation.
It has signed a 15 year lease, with no breaks, and it is thought to have agreed a rent close to the £107.64 per sq m (£10 per sq ft) quoting rent.
Developer Telpa – a Richardson’ backed operation – completed the development of Telford Plaza some three years ago.
