Ashtenne Welsh Properties has sold the freehold of two adjoining units at the Rassau Industrial Estate, Ebbw Vale for £3.7m.
Yuasa Battery UK, the occupier, bought the freehold of the 18,915 sq m (203,605 sq ft) units from the Welsh Development Agency, which had an option to purchase the freehold.
Yuasa had been paying £411,925 pa on leases expiring in 2011 and 2012. Rassau is located at the A465 Heads of Valleys Road, north of Ebbw Vale.
