Celtic Leisure is putting its Wales National Ice Rink (WNIR) on the market at £2.9m.
The 5,109 sq m (55,000 sq ft) WNIR building stands on a 0.61ha (1.5 acre) site between the Marriot Hotel, Jury’s Hotel and the Toys R Us retail store.
The rink is currently home to Ice Hockey Super League champions the Cardiff Devils, who will remain at the WNIR for three years before moving to the Welsh International Sports Village in Cardiff Bay.
DTZ director, RhysJames, who is marketing the building said: “A 1.5 acre site on the edge-of-town in Cardiff is a prize commodity lending itself to a retail or leisure use. “
