Four international hotel groups are bidding to move into Cardiff in a race against Sir Rocco Forte to run the city first five star hotel.
It is understood that Sheraton, Westin, Intercontinental and Hilton are on a shortlist drawn up by TBI for the property company’s planned luxury 200-bed hotel in Cardiff city centre opposite the proposed Welsh assembly.
