Bath is fighting plans by brewers to open seven “superpubs” for young people in listed buildings in the town centre.
The developments are all within 500 yards of each other. One superpub, PJ Peppers, has already opened, and another, All Bar One, will open shortly. Three others have been granted licences. But Samuel Smiths has been refused an application for a licence.
