Taylor Woodrow plans 25,000 sq ft retail scheme in Kidderminster city centre

Taylor Woodrow Property Developments and Property International (London) have formed a joint venture to develop a £3.5m retail scheme on a city centre site in Kidderminster, near Birmingham.

The scheme will comprise 2,323 sq m (25,000 sq ft) with anchor, Yates Wine Lodge taking a 650 sq m (7,000 sq ft) outlet on the Oxford Street border of the site. Yates is paying £65,000 pa.

Royal Bank of Scotland, already an occupier there, will remain on site and four retail units of up to 424 sq m (4,570 sq ft) are currently available.

Taylor Woodrow Property Developments acquired the site from Property International (London) Ltd for £1.46m last month. Property International originally acquired the site from Legal & General.

Hillier Parker and Wright Silverwood are joint-letting agents. Hillier Parker also advised Property International on the land purchase and sale. Harrison & Co represented L&G.
