Richard Branson is to launch a £50m chain of international fitness clubs in 10 warehouse-style sites.
Known as Virgin Active, Branson is searching for 5,574 sq m (60,000 sq ft) sites. He has already acquired sites in Preston and Leeds. Other preferred locations include the south coast and another large northern city.
Within five years, Virgin Active will have six more clubs including Paris and south-east Asia.
