Frogmore acquires 2 acre site in Staines to develop 78,000 sq ft office

Frogmore has paid £5m for a 0.9ha (2.1 acre) site in Staines with planning consent for 7,246 sq m (78,000 sq ft) gross of office accommodation.

The plot, acquired from three separate landowners, is situated on The Causeway, half a mile from junction 13 of the M25, almost a mile from Staines town centre and 200 yards from the proposed RAC headquarters building.

Development is due to begin in the autumn and will provide 6,131 sq m (66,000 sq ft) of net lettable space with 320 car parking spaces. On completion, the company says the building will have an investment value of around £26m.

The deal means Frogmore now has six strategic office schemes proposed or under development within London and the M25.

Frogmore retained its advisers King Sturge as letting agents. De Morgan & Co represented the vendors.
