Bellway Homes to redevelop 200 acre Ipswich Airport site

Bellway Homes has teamed up with Ipswich council to redevelop 80ha (200 acres) on the former Ipswich Airport.

The regeneration project is seen as one of East Anglia’s most important residential property developments in recent years. Work on site will start in the winter and first 1,000 homes will be ready for occupation in spring 1999.

Part of the project includes provision for a new primary school, public transport, new and improved sports facilities, and new uses for the terminal building.
