Time Warner and United News & Media (UNM) are in negotiations with the owners of three large sites as possible locations for their Warner Bros Movie World theme park and film production studio.
One of them is a British Telecommunications site in Rugby. Time Warner and UNM are looking at two other possible choices between Rugby and London. They hope to make a final choice by the beginning of next year.
The Rugby site is part of a 647.52ha (1,600 acre) radio transmission station.
Their first choice several years ago was a 60.71ha (150 acre) site at Hillingdon, in Middlesex, but local protests put an end to the proposal.
