Edinburgh-based hotel group City Inn plans to build a property at Argent Group’s Brindleyplace development in Birmingham.
The company has submitted plans for an eight-storey hotel of around 240 bedrooms. The main entrance will be in Brunswick Square. The Birmingham hotel will be City Inn’s third city-centre development. The other two are under construction in Bristol and Glasgow.
Work on the Brindleyplace City Inn is scheduled to start in summer 1999 with completion planned for the end of 2000.
