The entire town centre of Redditch in the west Midlands ahs been sold for £95m to Thornfield Developments backed by Lehman Brothers.
Commercial Union and Henderson Investors have sold the ageing shops and offices in Redditch after placing them on the market more than 18 months ago.
The new owners get a sprawling 65,030m2 (700,000 sq ft) complex of 160 shops let to M&S, BHs and Allders.
