Icelandic company Air Atlanta Icelandic is centralising its operations in 3,000 sq m (32,293 sq ft) of light industrial space at Manston Airport near Ramsgate, Kent.
It will use the space for parts storage and repair workshops and utilise the airfield for parking unleased planes. Manston Airport is set to become an approved commercial airport later this year and Thanet district council is pushing the surrounding 283ha (700 acres) as an airside business park development.
AAI’s relocation will follow moves by Advanced Valve Technologies and Telecoms Company Global Crossings to the airport.
