Robert Wiseman Dairies has identified a site south-west of Birmingham for its planned expansion in the south of England.
It expects to have planning permission to build the £30m dairy and processing centre within six weeks.
The dairy anticipates opening by the summer of 2001 despite the fact it has no contract with a large supermarket as yet to make use of the extra capacity.
