DTZ Debenham Thorpe has bolstered its shopping centre management team with the acquisition of Midlands-based agency Scriven & Co.
Scriven’s six-strong team, headed by Peter Preddy who will join as a director, is to be based in DTZ’s Birmingham office. Gert Corfield and Stuart Thackaberry will become associate directors.
Geoff Thomas, regional chairman of DTZ in the Midlands, said: “This acquisition significantly strengthens our shopping centre management capability nationally and within the Midlands. We are a market leader in shopping centre management in the UK and we look forward to Peter and his team working with us to further strengthen that position both nationally and in the Midlands.”
Peter Preddy said: “We are delighted to be joining DTZ. The strength of DTZ’s resource and capital base will enable us to further develop our business and enhance the service we provide to our existing clients.”
