Lawyers finally sign for Park Row Leeds

Solicitor Pinsent Curtis has finally signed up for Natwest Group’s 1 Park Row office scheme in Leeds, several months after the deal was first tabled.

The deal for the 7,558 sq m (80,824 sq ft) building is one of the largest ever single lettings in Leeds. It will also be a relief for NatWest to let the entire building. Talks with Royal & Sun Alliance collapsed last year, and the building was available floor by floor.

Pinsent has taken a 25-year lease at £212.59 per sq m (£19.75 per sq ft). The firm has 325 staff in Leeds and the new building allows room for expansion.

Malcolm Lloyd, Pinsent senior partner said after signing the deal, “The wait was worth it”.

DTZ Debenham Thorpe and Lambert Smith Hampton acted for NatWest while Weatherall Green & Smith advised the law firm.
