Banks branches will continue to close, Tim Sweeney, director-general, of the British Bankers’ Association, will warn in a speech at the London School of Economics.
He will say that closures are a necessity in recognition that “many customers do not use or need them”and that “traditional banks will disappear in 10 years and perhaps even in five years.”
