Wealthy private buyers are increasingly looking to commercial real estate as an alternative asset class to stocks, bonds and cash, reports Norma Cohen in her Financial Times property column.
She highlights the sale last month of Britannic House, an office building in the heart of the City of London, to a syndicate of wealthy private buyers for £140m, to illustrate her point.
