Coffee Republic intends to accelerate expansion plans outside London to centres including Birmingham, Leeds and Newcastle.
The chain reported interim pretax losses of £1.5m compared to £724,000 losses last time. This was due to the cost of rolling out its units. Coffee Republic currently has 53 outlets.
The company will also seek a full listing on the stock exchange.
