Woolworths signs as final anchor at LandSec’s Ballymena centre

Woolworths has signed up as an anchor tenant at Land Securities’ Tower Centre shopping scheme in Ballymena, Northern Ireland, leaving just one shop unit vacant.

The store is taking a 25-year lease on a three-storey unit totalling 1,720 sqm (18,525 sq ft).

Woolworths joins Primark, Boots the Chemist and Dunnes Stores as a major tenant in the scheme, which has an additional 47 internal units and 18 external shops.

A major refurbishment has been undertaken over the past eighteen months with new tenants taking space in the centre’s extension include New Look, Clinton Cards and CarphoneWarehouse.

Letting agents for LandSec are McCombe Pierce of Belfast and Churston Heard of London.
