Bristol council is inviting bids for a city centre site earmarked for redevelopment as a mixed-use scheme.
The 0.8ha (2-acre) site is currently occupied by the council’s 5,574 sq m (60,000 sq ft) former planning office Cabot House.
King Sturge & Co’s Ned Cussen, who is advising on the sale, said: “The council anticipates predominantly housing, but also a range of other uses as part of its drive to regenerate the city.”
The two-stage tender process’ deadline for first stage submissions is 28th February. A decision on the preferred developer is anticipated by the summer.
