James Dyson has admitted it is unlikely he will be able to expand his vacuum cleaner manufacturing operations next to his existing site at Malmesbury, Wiltshire.
His ambition has been wrecked by local opposition on a stretch of land sold to him by Lord Morton.
Lord Morton has his own plans for the remainder of his family farmland. He would like to develop it for mixed housing, a supermarket, new football ground and millennium river park.
