Spanish retailer Zara has beaten rival Mango in the race for the prime Oxford Street site
The fashion giant will open its 1,200 sq m (12,917 sq ft) UK flagship store at the former Virgin Cosmetics Company shop at 242-248 Oxford Street. The two-storey premises will also take over the adjoining Electronics Boutique and Bally units.
Details of the deal remain under wraps but Virgin Vie revealed that it is an “extremely good offer”.
