Barlows and Schroder Exempt Property Unit Trust have secured planning permission for Altrincham Business Park in South Manchester.
The scheme includes the refurbisment of St George’s Court and Hanover Business Park and the development of a 4.05ha (10 acre) site next door. Proposals include offices, industrial and warehousing totalling 15,783 sq m (170,000 sq ft).
Construction of phase one will start in late spring. Phase one will provide 2,882 sq m (31,022 sq ft) of offices in three units and five industrial/warehouse units totalling 4,971 sq m (53,505 sq ft).
The first phase also includes the completion of George Richards Way to Baltic/Dairyhouse Lane linking the development to the A56 Manchester Road.
