Crest Nicholson is launching the second biggest consultation programme in British history for a proposed development in the centre of Bristol.
The property group’s plans for the multi-screen cinema, flats and offices were rejected in January because of opposition from locals.
Now it has ditched the scheme and is setting up a 20-strong committee to consult on a new plan in which local people will have a say.
