Greene King has vowed to continue expanding into high quality pubs.
It is rolling out its 117-strong Hungry Horse chain with outlets stretching into the north where it hopes to secure 10 new sites in the coming year.
The company believes it can add another 400 pubs in the south before running into Office of Fair Trading problems.
