JDS Uniphase has taken 4,273 sq m (46,000 sq ft) at Brixton Estate’s Oxford Industrial Park, Oxford.
The optical equipment manufacturer has let the light industrial space at an annual rent of £287,500 pa, which breaks back to £67.20 per sq m (£6.25 per sq ft). A six month rent-free incentive has been granted on a 15-year lease.
Around 5,853 sq m (63,000 sq ft) remains available in four units at the park, with 3,995 sq m (43,000 sq ft) under offer to a single tenant. Brixton will start construction of the 5,044 sq m (54,300 sq ft) second phase of the scheme in the autumn.
