Plans unveiled for Leeds’ tallest building

Landmark Developments and St James Securities have unveiled plans to alter dramatically Leeds’ skyline with a 23-storey skyscraper.

In a joint venture with landowner the Halifax, the developers propose a 27,870 sq m (300,000 sq ft) scheme comprising offices, flats and a hotel.

The site for the tower is located on Victoria Road overlooking Granary Wharf and the Leeds-to-Liverpool canal basin.

A decision on planning consent is expected later this year. Hill Woolhouse is letting agent for the scheme.
