The Ministry of Defence (MOD) is in dispute with the army over plans to relocate soldiers from Chelsea barracks in west London.
Under a review of a Private Finance Initiative (PFI), the army wants to retain a large portion of the 4.4ha (11 acre) site. Whitehall property officials want the soldiers to move to west London.
The review started earlier this year after a PFI consortium led by Regalian and Amec failed to find a suitable relocation site for the barrack’s 1,000 staff.
