PFI hospitals deal collapses

The National Health Service has dealt a blow to the Rocht Property Group when it announced it had pulled out of four PFI hospitals in the south-east.It had been in negotiation with a consortium that included the property group and Schroeders.

The deal for the community hospitals at Sheppey, Maidstone, Portsmouth and Lymington, in Hampshire, was thought to be worth £10m-£20m per building.
