Heal’s has more than £7m to fund acquisitions or new store openings outside London.
It is planning 10-12 homewares stores in towns such as York, Brighton, Cambridge and Chester.
The four-strong chain wants to focus on smaller stores of 557 sq m 743 sq m (6,000sq ft-8,000 sq ft).
