Helios shines on east Manchester

A private Irish investor has acquired five units at Helios Properties’ Tameside Park industrial scheme, east Manchester, in a £1.525m deal.

Units 1-4 and 6 at Tameside Court, comprising 35,000 sq ft (3,240 sq m), have been sold to private clients of Campbell Norton. Tenants are Cannon Precision, Epwin Group and Comet, paying an average rent of £4.50 per sq ft (£46 per sq m). The net initial yield was 9.2%.

The 400,000 sq ft (37,160 sq m) park has been developed by Helios over the last four years and is now benefiting from the completion of Manchester’s M60 orbital motorway.
