British consumers are paying among the highest prices in the world for high-speed internet access via telephone lines, according to a report by the consultancy Analysys.
The UK has the third most expensive monthly charges for high-speed technology ADSL, in a comparison of the main ADSL providers in 16 countries.
The results are likely to add to industry unhappiness at the slow rollout of ADSL services.
