Chartwell buys freehold of B&Q’s Sidcup store

Chartwell Land has acquired the freehold of a B&Q Supercentre Store in Sidcup, Kent, from Equitable Life. The £9.5m deal reflects a net initial yield of 6.22%.

The property at Crittal’s Corner comprises 2,943 sq m (31,682 sq ft) and is let to B&Q for a further 19.5 years at an annual rent of around £205 per sq m (£19 per sq ft).
