St Modwen has sold a 5.67ha (14-acre) greenfield plot in Stafford, Staffordshire, to housebuilder Midland & General Homes.
Midland & General plans to build 124 homes on the site, which was bought for an undisclosed price.
St Modwen had bought the site as agricultural land and obtained consent for residential development.
