Global Switch director Martin Orrell has been promoted to chief operating officer.
In the global projects finance team, Orrell was responsible for the arrangement of loan facilities for Global Switch with Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) and Deutsche Bank. He was previously corporate director of the real estate finance group at RBS.
Global Switch chief executive Andy Ruhan said: “With more of our facilities now becoming fully operational, Global Switch is entering a new phase in its growth and Martin will play a major role in ensuring we manage the business effectively.”
Orrell replaces Mark Lambourne, who has returned to live and work in the US.
