Nottingham businesses are fighting Nottingham city council plans for workplace parking charges of £150 pa per motorist, rising to £350 in 10 years.
The city council is looking to raise £10m in the first year, starting in 2004, which it would plough back into public transport.
Opponents, instead, want the council to charge all road users entering the city.
