The High Court is due to give its long-awaited ruling on the Front Garden site, in Swindon.
The dispute over plans to build 3,800 new homes on a Swindon site known as the Front Garden began in July 2001, when the countrys largest, privately-owned housebuilder asked the court to block the plans in favour of a development on its own preferred site.
The judge is scheduled to give his decision on the case at 10.30 am on 23 November 2001.
