The Times and The Guardian repeat the news reported yesterday in the Financial Times about the Princes Foundations backing for a retro-style urban housing project in St Austell, Cornwall.
Midas Homes will build the scheme with Restormel Borough Council and the South West Regional Development Agency. It will be similar to Poundbury, just outside Dorchester.
The urban village will be built on the 4.05ha (10-acre) site of a former British Rail yard. It will have workshops, office space, a village green, shops and 140 homes, including 25 for low-income families.
