Four new retailers have signed up for space at Forth Ports and Bank of Scotland’s £120m Ocean Terminal, Edinburgh’s newest shopping and leisure development.
Music store HMV, lingerie specialist La Senza, O’Brien’s Sandwich Bar and niche clothing retailer S3 have all signed for 15-25 year leases at rents of about £85 per sq ft zone A.
HMV will open its 8,500 sq ft (789 sq m) store in early May, while S3 and La Senza will open in March and April respectively. Gap will also open a store in the scheme in April. The new tenants join anchors Debenhams and BHS.
Over 60% of the total floorspace is now committed or in solicitors’ hands.
The scheme will provide 21,367 sq m (230,000 sq ft) of shops, 8,268 sq m (89,000 sq ft) of bars and restaurants, a 12-screen Ster Century cinema and 6,596 sq m (71,000 sq ft) of other leisure facilities including the Britannia Visitor Centre.
